Birthday parties aren’t just for children — adult milestone celebrations are becoming increasingly popular too. From themed 18ths and 21sts to 30ths, 40ths, and beyond, face painting and glitter can add a fun and memorable twist that guests absolutely love.

In fact, at children’s parties it is not unusual for me to end up painting more adults than children. Once the parents see the designs, they often can’t resist joining in.

Teen glitter parties are also a huge favourite, with festival-style sparkle, bold eye designs, and statement face gems creating that perfect Instagram-worthy look. It’s a great way to make a birthday celebration feel grown-up, stylish, and a little bit extra!

For birthday bookings, I typically include glitter tattoos, festival glitter, and face gems alongside face painting, giving guests plenty of options to suit their style — whether that’s bold and colourful, subtle and sparkly, or something completely unique.

Whatever the age being celebrated, my aim is always the same: to create a relaxed, fun atmosphere and make the day feel extra special.
